MEET LILIANA

Hi hi! I'm Liliana (she/ella/they).

I'm a first-generation Xicana Indigena multidisciplinary Spirit Artist, psychic medium, tarot reader + lifelong creative.

I've been aware of the unseen for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I experienced things I couldn't always explain. I felt things deeply, knew things without knowing why, and had experiences with Spirit long before I understood that's what they were.

I found tarot when I was 14 and have been reading for more than 25 years. But my relationship with Spirit has never stayed neatly inside the cards. Over the years, it's expanded into mediumship, energy work, ritual, writing and, eventually, my art.

And art really changed everything for me.

I've always been creative, but for a long time I didn't consider myself an artist. Creating was just something I did because I loved it. As I started trusting that part of myself more, I realized Spirit was showing up there too—in the colors I was drawn to, the symbols and images that kept appearing, and the things I would make without fully understanding why.

Eventually, all these parts of me that once felt separate started making sense together.

The psychic. The medium. The tarot reader. The artist. The person who is endlessly curious about the things we can't always see but somehow know are there.

My relationship with Spirit has grown and changed right along with me. What started with tarot and mediumship became something much bigger—a way of seeing, listening, creating, questioning, grieving, healing + making meaning out of this very strange and beautiful life we're living.

That's really what sits at the heart of my work: exploring the relationship between the seen and unseen, and creating ways for other people to explore that relationship too. Sometimes that's through a reading. Sometimes it's through a piece of art, a symbol, a story, a ritual or something I haven't even thought of yet.

I don't think I'll ever be interested in doing just one thing. My work continues to change because I continue to change. I want to keep learning, experimenting, making weird things, asking questions + discovering new ways of connecting with Spirit, ourselves and this life.

I'm an artist, a medium + a deeply curious human who happens to talk to dead people.

And somehow, I get to make a life out of bringing all those things together.
